Bloody Bloody Bible Camp Review

Starring: Reggie Bannister, Tim Sullivan, Ron Jeremy, Jeff Dylan Graham, Ivet Corvea, Matthew Aidan, Jessica Sonneborn, Deborah Venadas

Director: Vito Trabucco

I am not afraid to say this, I am a Christian and some things do offend me when it comes to my religious beliefs. I'm not the type of person who will shove it down someone's throats. I don't judge what others believe, so I expect the same thing.

Anyway, on to the movie. In 1977, a group a promiscuous teens and their religious leader are being killed brutally at a bible camp by a  deranged nun by the name of Sister Mary Chopper. Fast forward to 1984 and a new bunch of promiscuous teens and their priest are headed back to that same bible camp and you guessed it, Sister Mary Chopper is back and in full force.

As I said earlier, I am a Christian, but you know what? I absolutely loved this movie. It is definitely offensive in some ways, but I took it for what it was...a bloody slasher that was just so damn fun!

I think the only that I was disappointed with was that Jeff Dylan Graham wasn't in it much, but I was glad to see him none the less. Also, Reggie Bannister was funny as hell as the priest.

"Bloody Bloody Bible Camp" was a gory and hilarious romp that is not to be missed!

Girls Gone Dead Review

Starring: Katie Pearson, Caley Hayes, Shea Stewart, Ryan Keely, Brandy Whitford, Jerry Lawler, Linnea Quigley, Ron Jeremy, Beetlejuice, Shawn C. Phillips

A group of sexy college girls go on spring break for a little bit of rowdy fun, but little do they know that they will be faced with a huge dilemma....a blood thirsty maniac wielding a medieval war hammer is hot on their trail and this killer will be slashing and hacking his way through all the sex crazed party goers just to get to them.

I am a really huge fan of Michael A. Hoffman's films. From Sigma Die to Spring Break Massacre to ROT: Reunion of Terror, I was wondering what kind of mayhem he could create next....but lo and behold...he gives of GIRLS GONE DEAD.

In my honest opinion, slashers are the greatest form of entertainment. I love when the killers hacks their way into people's lives leaving a trail of blood and gore in their wake. GIRLS GONE DEAD makes no exception to this rule. I have to say that the killer in this flick is quite unique....he's dressed as a monk and wielding a war hammer, which I've never seen in any other film of this type and I've seen tons of weapons used before.

I think everyone did an amazing job. The cast is really excellent, although I wish some of them had bigger parts like Linnea Quigley, Ron Jeremy and Shawn C. Phillips...but they all did really great. What surprised me the most was the very small cameo of Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain. I am a huge Iron maiden fan, so that made me incredibly happy!

GIRLS GONE DEAD is full of blood, gore, mayhem and hot girls. Gates of Gore gives this movie it's seal of approval. Don't miss it!

Bleeding Through Review

Starring: Sandy Behre, Ruby LaRocca, Henrique Couto, George Hrab, Justin Channell, Zane Crosby, Josh Lively, Adam Dunhoff, Andrew Shearer, Countess Samela, Jason Pollock

Lindsay is trying to deal with the death of her parents. If that wasn't bad enough, her boyfriend leaves her and she has to move out of the house. When she meets a new friend, she thinks everything will be ok, but when she gets betrayed by the one that she stars trusting the most, she goes over the edge and commits suicide. However, death isn't through with her as she starts getting her revenge on in the most violent ways.

Bleeding Through is the long awaited new film from Dayton's own, Henrique Couto. If you are familiar with his work, you know how wacky and cooky he can be...but not with his new endeavor. Bleeding Through is a dramatic horror film about dealing with one's family's loss, bullying, betrayal and revenge. I was quite surprised as how this film truly affected me. I felt a bit on the depressed side through a majority of it, until the revenge scenes started and that made me more excited. The death scenes were quite impressive and not too over the top, which really fits with the tone of this movie.

I thought the cast did an amazing job. Sandy Behre and Ruby LaRocca really stole the show, but everyone did great. You just get so involved with these characters as if you want to do something yourself. You'll see what I mean when you get the chnce to check it out for yourself.

I am really looking forward to the official release of Bleeding Through because people needs to see it, it's one that is important to all fans of independent films.

Henrique Couto is an exceptional filmmaker and storyteller and I am looking forward to what he comes up with next.

Bleeding Through is highly recommended!
