Bleeding Through Review

Lindsay is trying to deal with the death of her parents. If that wasn't bad enough, her boyfriend leaves her and she has to move out of the house. When she meets a new friend, she thinks everything will be ok, but when she gets betrayed by the one that she stars trusting the most, she goes over the edge and commits suicide. However, death isn't through with her as she starts getting her revenge on in the most violent ways.

Bleeding Through is the long awaited new film from Dayton's own, Henrique Couto. If you are familiar with his work, you know how wacky and cooky he can be...but not with his new endeavor. Bleeding Through is a dramatic horror film about dealing with one's family's loss, bullying, betrayal and revenge. I was quite surprised as how this film truly affected me. I felt a bit on the depressed side through a majority of it, until the revenge scenes started and that made me more excited. The death scenes were quite impressive and not too over the top, which really fits with the tone of this movie.

I thought the cast did an amazing job. Sandy Behre and Ruby LaRocca really stole the show, but everyone did great. You just get so involved with these characters as if you want to do something yourself. You'll see what I mean when you get the chnce to check it out for yourself.

I am really looking forward to the official release of Bleeding Through because people needs to see it, it's one that is important to all fans of independent films.

Henrique Couto is an exceptional filmmaker and storyteller and I am looking forward to what he comes up with next.

Bleeding Through is highly recommended!

Crowley proceeds to begin his occult practices all over again, in search for a "scarlet bride" to marry and increase his powers. I really didn't know what to expect, but this was one of the most kick ass movies I've seen in a long time. Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson co-wrote this little tale and I was surprised.
